Vincent J. Averaimo is a Partner at Barton Gilman LLP and an experienced civil litigator with a broad practice spanning state and federal courts. He represents individuals, businesses, and corporations in a wide range of civil matters, including general civil litigation, probate administration and probate litigation, real estate transactions and disputes (commercial and residential), title litigation and tort and premises liability claims. A significant portion of Vincent’s practice is devoted to representing banks, mortgage servicers, investors, and other financial institutions in all aspects of creditors’ rights including, foreclosure, default servicing, and complex real estate-related litigation matters. He also advises clients on estate planning, probate administration, and related disputes, drawing on his extensive experience in both litigation and transactional matters. In addition to his practice, Vincent has served as an Adjunct Professor of Business Law at the University of New Haven and has taught courses on short sales, 1031 exchanges, and the fundamentals of Connecticut foreclosure law for The Dares Institute.
