Tom Dolan is a seasoned trial attorney with 13 years of experience representing clients in complex civil and commercial litigation across state and federal courts in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire. Known for his strategic approach and courtroom skill, Tom advocates for individuals and businesses in a wide range of disputes.
Tom concentrates his practice on medical malpractice defense, representing medical professionals in cases involving hospital and nursing home care. He also represents medical professionals in arbitration, mediation, and state licensing board hearings. In addition, his practice is focused on personal injury and premises liability litigation, civil rights litigation, insurance litigation and criminal defense. He is known for his interpersonal skills and his practical, strategic approach to complex litigation. Both inside and outside of the courtroom, Tom is a strong advocate focused on delivering practical, results-driven solutions for his clients.
Tom has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict in the District and Superior Courts of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He recently defended Rhode Island medical providers who were sued as part of the highly publicized New England Compounding Center Multi-District Litigation in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
Prior to joining the firm, Tom served as an Assistant District Attorney in Worcester County, Massachusetts, where he directed cases through all phases of criminal prosecution in District and Superior Court. In addition to the Central District Court Unit, he was also a member of the Domestic Violence Unit where he worked closely with victims and their families, victim-witness advocates, police departments and social service agencies to address the serious problem of domestic abuse and harassment through the aggressive prosecution of violent offenders.

Beyond the courtroom, Tom spends his time raising his two young children with his wife, Caitlen, at their home in Mansfield, Massachusetts. He is proficient in reading, writing, and speaking French. He is also a tennis instructor in the Manfield and Easton communities and a published songwriter.
