Kateryna’s practice includes a broad range of civil litigation matters including insurance defense, professional liability, insurance coverage, mortgage default, and business and real estate disputes.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Kateryna gained extensive litigation experience as a member of the firm’s legal support staff, where she assisted with a variety of cases in state, federal, and appellate courts. In this capacity, she supported her team by drafting pleadings, motions, and written discovery, preparing client reports, budgets, and conducting legal research.
Kateryna also brings valuable in-house experience from a publicly traded biotech immuno-oncology company, where she supported the legal departments of the company and its subsidiaries. In that role, she drafted, reviewed, negotiated, and managed life cycles of a wide variety of contracts. She also aided with the preparation and maintenance of corporate governance materials, participated in the drafting and implementation of internal compliance initiatives, and supported non-executive equity grant programs.
Kateryna consistently demonstrated academic excellence in law school, earning Dean’s List recognition each semester. She was involved in her law school community by serving as Vice President of the Environmental Law Society and a first-year law student mentor, as well as being a member of the Real Estate Law and Space Law societies.
