With 20 years of experience as a litigator, Darlene represents clients in state and federal courts in Massachusetts. She concentrates her practice in personal injury including wrongful death, slip and falls, motor vehicle accidents, negligent security, fire losses, and construction defect cases. Throughout her career, she has litigated numerous complex commercial claims and handled more than 40 jury trials. She is also skilled in alternative dispute resolution and has represented clients in hundreds of mediations and arbitrations.
Darlene worked for Liberty Mutual for 14 years as defense counsel and managed her own plaintiff’s personal injury practice for more than two years. She also previously worked for a medical malpractice firm and other plaintiff’s personal injury and family law practices in Massachusetts. Her work included litigating against the Roman Catholic Archbishop Diocese of Boston in sexual abuse cases.
In addition to her practice, Darlene has tutored law students for the bar exam and has worked closely with Massachusetts law schools regarding law clerk internships and cooperative opportunities.
