Shylah Maloney Named to Pro Bono Honor Roll by the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court

Shylah Maloney has been named to the Pro Bono Honor Roll by the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. This award is given to attorneys for exceptional pro bono service and who committed 50+ hours of pro bono work in 2021. Shylah has been named to the Pro Bono Honor Roll each year since 2019.

The majority of Shylah’s pro bono work is with Lynn United for Change, a local tenants’ rights group, where she provides legal advice to tenants facing eviction and drafts pleadings for their defense. She has been involved with this organization since 2017 as a law student with the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau. Shylah finds the work especially rewarding having faced housing instability in her own childhood and believes there is always time to pay it forward!
